Terms of delivery
The conditions of sea container transportation contain information about the costs included in the freight price or not included in the port of departure or arrival.
FILO Delivery Condition
(from the Eng. Free In Liner Out) — the price does not include loading onto the ship, but unloading at the destination port is included.
LILO Delivery Condition
(from the Eng. Liner In Liner Out) — the full cost, including sea freight with all surcharges, loading, and unloading (DTHC, OTHC).
LIFO Delivery Condition
(from the Eng. Liner In Free Out) is the reverse of FILO, i.e. loading is enabled, but unloading is not.
FIFO Delivery Condition
(from the Eng. Free In Free Out) — the cost of sea freight only, without loading the container onto the ship at the port of departure and without unloading it from the ship at the port of destination.
Cy is an abbreviation from English, meaning container yard, the place where containers are placed before shipment or after arrival.
